Service & Contract Sales Representative
We have an immediate opening for a Sales Representative with at least 10 years experience. HVAC/R experience is a MUST to be considered for this position. Applicant must be highly motivated, organized and have excellent communication and computer skills.
GENERAL JOB DESCRIPTION:
- Make sales calls to current and potential customers to develop possible projects and to sell Planned Maintenance contracts.
- Prepare proposals and pricing for new Contract jobs and Planned Maintenance Contracts.
- Work with assigned Project Manager to turn over all details of the project including bid, proposal, budget, drawings, submittals, material takeoffs, subcontractor proposals, contact lists, preliminary schedule and any other pertinent notes.
- Follow up with customers to ensure that client's needs are met, and to ensure an ongoing positive relationship with current client base.
- Performs other duties as required.
EXPECTATIONS:
- Minimum 5 years experience in a sales related capacity
- Minimum 5 years experience mechanical systems. Advanced degree is preferred.
- Must possess good customer service and relationship management skills.
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
- Estimating skills for small projects a must.
- Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
- Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic
- Proficient with MSWord; MSExcel; MSOutlook
