Refrigerant Safety

Regardless of the type of refrigerant, safety is always a concern. Safety comes first at RECCO.

For this reason, our technicians are well trained in refrigerant safety.  RECCO technicians follow specific procedures when maintaining, servicing, repairing or disposing of air conditioning or refrigeration equipment.  Training in the use of protective equipment and knowledge in regards to safety when it comes to handling, transporting and disposing of cylinders are part of our standard procedures. Our trained technicians and staff offer emergency response services for hazardous releases. Additionally, RECCO technicians are trained to protect themselves and others from electrical shock and electrical arc flashes. Every RECCO technician is provided with proper flame resistant shirts, pants, electrical face shields and hoods, gloves and voltage detector kits as required by NFPA70E standards.
